Let’s start…
Thank you for downloading our e-book!
We’re excited to know that you’ll have our work in your collection. To help you print your e-book in the best quality, we’ve prepared this guide. In this document, we explain everything you need to know to achieve professional print results.
We hope this guide helps you succeed! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us.
Let’s begin!
You have (downloaded) a .zip file. First step double click on it and extract to files.
Your e-book is provided in PDF format with both US Letter (8.5 x 11 inches) and ISO sizes (A4, A5, etc.). These formats are ideal for printing at any standard print shop or home printer.
Make sure your printer settings match the size of the PDF you’re printing to avoid any cropping or resizing issues.
For a high-quality, professional-looking e-book, we recommend using the following paper:
Text-heavy pages: Use high-quality 80-100 gsm paper for clear and sharp text output.
Color-rich or graphic pages: Opt for 120-160 gsm paper for vibrant color reproduction and durability, especially for images or artwork.
Matte or semi-gloss paper will give you the best balance between readability and visual appeal.
To ensure your e-book is printed in the best quality:
Set your printer to “Best Quality” or “High Resolution” mode.
Select “Print as Image” in the advanced settings to prevent any formatting errors with PDFs.
Use a color printer if the e-book contains graphics or designs. Otherwise, grayscale works well for text-based e-books.
Professional Printing Services: For top-tier results, take your PDF to a local print shop or use online printing services. This is particularly important for full-color pages or if you want your e-book printed as a bound book.
Considering the length of our e-books, which typically range from 100 to 150 pages, you have several options for professional binding:
Spiral Binding: Durable and cost-effective for thicker e-books.
Perfect Binding: Offers a clean, book-like appearance suitable for longer texts.
Hardcover Binding: Ideal for a premium, long-lasting edition, especially if the e-book is an important reference.
If you prefer professional printing services, consider taking the PDF to a local print shop or an online printing service. Ensure they have the option to print in both US Letter and ISO sizes, and inquire about their binding options.
For a book-like reading experience, you can print double-sided. Make sure your printer is capable of duplex printing or manually set it to print odd pages first, followed by even pages.
Our e-books are optimized with adequate margins for printing, so there's no need to adjust any page layout. However, be sure to set the scaling option in your printer settings to "Fit to Page" or "Actual Size" depending on your preference.
By following these guidelines, you’ll achieve a high-quality printed version of your e-book, perfect for personal reference, study, or to display as a professional work. Thank you for choosing Chagatai Art for your e-book needs!
